I'm looking at both and can't decide. Need input from those who have them. Pros and Cons to the integrated mag pouches or buying the HSGI tacos. I will be using this under my standard issued body armor. 6'2" 275 lbs. I'm on a budget so I am focused on these two only.

How many mags do you want to use or mount? The HSGI tacos add more cost right away. I went with the woo and taco route. I heard the wa gets loose when you expend mags.

Being it's for patrol duty, I figured max of four rifle mags and three pistol mags. Radio pouch, hydration, first aid kit, admin pouch and flex cuff pouches.

Are you wearing your IBA under or over this? Little confusion because of first post.
Are you gonna use plates front/back and or sides? Will you double stack mags or not? Do you have a rig set up that you want to mimic? Trying to get and idea.
The wa can hold like 12 mags across the front.

Personally, I like my Woo and the ability to put the pouches I want/need on it...basically customizing it myself. I worry about the Wa and what happens when the mags are not in the pouches or I don't want to carry all 12 mags or don't want to double stack, etc.

I have mine set up with 4 rifle tacos on the front and 3 pistol tacos on my left. The reason for the tacos is I use different primary and secondaries sometimes. I need to add a IFAK to this with a dump pouch, and small utility pouch. I am looking to get the cummberbund for more molle real estate.

Soft BA under uniform shirt so it's under the plate carrier. I would throw the Wa / Woo on over my uniform when needed.

That is pretty good there. I have a few rifle tacos already so I think the Woo is the way to go.

Question; Am I right in thinking I have to purchase the side plate holders to use 6"x6" side plates or does the Woo come with them?

You have to get the side plate adapters seperately. I'm looking to get a modified version from Gene that is more low profile and doesn't lose that much molle when mounted. IIRC they fit 6x8 plates but I think you can modify them. I would call and ask them.

Do the Woo, things can get floopy in a Waa or Wee.
When you take mags from the integrated mag pouches in the Waa/Wee your vest will start to loosen.
