| Curious on the Gen III Soft Shell top and bottom sizing, is the corresponding size to your ACU size the size you order for the soft shell top and bottom or do you need to order a size larger? |

ACU size. All of mine are ML Yup same here. Though I can do MR, LR, an LL if I need to since I'm right on the edge of all three. The gen II stuff seems to be sized the same as ACUs and the room needed to layer already seems to be taken into account. I'm told the older stuff, specifically the gen I, had issues with size for layering. Doesnt seem to be an issue now though. The Massif stuff in the FREE system has given be a bit of trouble though. Even going one size up, I still cant layer too much with my early production Elements IWOL. Pretty much just a LS tshirt and maybe my Flamestretch pullover. Then a again its not really supposed to be something you wear when you need tons of warm layers. |
