What is the sizing like with these boots? Do they run large or small, or are they spot on? Mine were true to shoe size, toe box is wide kinda like the corcoran jump boots we used to wear when we had to shine boots. FWIW, I havent had a issue wth Botach in nearly 10 years and literally dozens of orders. I usually get a package on my doorstep before my card is charged. |

has botach gotten any better with customers and orders? I've ordered twice a few months back. Not one thing to complain about. Good prices, and fast shipping. These boots rock, except for one thing: the bottom eyelets bruise the bajeezus out of the top of my foot (first joint). It doesn't look like it would be an issue for a cobble to remove them. Anyone gone this route? I'm going to swing by the shop tomorrow if he's open and see what can be done. |

Well, that answers that.
Seriously, if I let it go any longer, I wouldn't be able to walk, and I have a decent pain threshold. |

I just ordered some, too, in size 13.
I have a pair of 1966-dated Bata jungle boots, but they're in 13XW, and I slide around in them so badly that they're unwearable to me for any kind of hiking. Anyone know of a good place to get rid of Vietnam-era surplus? I know several reenactors here in the Nashville area, but they're either skinny guys, or they have even bigger feet than I do. |

If I were that size I'd grab those off of you. Old School jungle boots rule. They don't make 'em like those anymore. |

If you wear 13's you are going to want 14's. Start looking for someone who wants 12's because you are about to get a pair. If they like them enough send them my way and I'll make them a deal on a second pair. That said I ordered some more last night a size up. If they have your size in the Bootistans , get them they are true to size and outstanding boots. My experience with Botach in recent times has been very good. |
| I just emailed them at the main contact page, as well as at their customer support page, so we'll see. I ordered on Friday night, well past normal business hours, so maybe they won't ship before reading my email tomorrow. I've only received the order confirmation email, but no package tracking information yet. |

I have however been wrong before. |

Live Help is closed, and Sunday is NOT normal business hours as listed on their site. What else would you recommend I do? Just called, left a message, as no one is there on a Sunday afternoon. Despite outward appearances I'm trying to help you. If they are not available NOW I recommend contacting them at the earliest opportunity when they ARE available.

My boots came in today, 6 days from the time my order was processed. Unlike others have mentioned here, the boots are true to my shoe size, even my big size 13 feet. The nylon is much more of a brown than the green shown in their pictures, but I actually like that better. I wore them for a short hike today to break them in, and man, these boots are light!
If Botach has any left in stock and in your size I highly recommend getting a pair. |

They ship them out quick but it takes awhile since I am on the E coast and they came from the W coast. These things are super light. I absolutely love the colors. Reminds me of old school Army. The OD green fabric has a more brownish tent to it. And like previously said I wear a 13 shoe and the 13 boot fits great. |

Got a pair of Bootistans, which were something I considered at $150+. I was much happier to pick them up for $40 shipped.
Received in a week. Heavy duty boots that have a moderate weight feel. I wore them the first week in 80-80 degree temps and felt the Goretex knock-off membrane was breathing somewhat. My experience with Botach has been generally positive for the last five years plus. Some times shipping get slow every third or fourth order, but at thelowest price point, they get some slack. |
