THIS

TO THIS I know it has opening to access the belt inside but the attachments are to wide to do so...

In my experience with that same drop leg platform and my ATS war belt (with similar openings along the bottom of the belt) those too items will be completely compatible.

I don't understand what you mean by "the attachments are too wide to do so". Could you elaborate?

Simple.  A couple lengths of paracord will do.  Start with holster-hangers in the spot you want relative to the belt.  Run one end of the paracord through loop on holster hanger, then up and over inner belt.  Bring cord down and back through holster-hanger, then up and over belt alongside cord there now.  Bring end down, and tie off.  Two loops of cord over belt, two loops through holster-hanger.  Repeat for other holster hanger.  You could also do much the same using the PALS webbing on the outside of the belt, but I think going over the inner belt would be stronger and not waste PALS space on the belt.

I think he means that the buckles and so forth on the belt are too wide to run through the loops on the holster hanger straps.  I assume the loops are permanently sewn.

The war belt is open on the bottom. you attach to the under belt. the war belt is a cover for the duty belt.

The opening on the side to the belt is not wide enough to allow attachment of the hangers...

Get a better belt.  I have a BFG SOC-C and you can open up the entire bottom of the belt and mount anything you want.

Can you attach the straps at the top with the double wide MOLLE that runs horizontally?  That may work if the straps fit through.

I used to run a strapped drop leg platform but moved away a couple years ago to the Safariland UBL mount with the 1.5" drop.  That way there are no straps as it doesn't attach to your leg and limit mobility or flexibility.

I am sure you can make it work.  If you don't need the drop leg, you can get a MOLLE mount for your holster from Safariland and mount your pistol on your belt directly.  But it is better to have it sit an inch or two lower to clear your gear.

just feed the straps in the opening at the bottom, it'll work fine.

Yep. It'll be all right if the top two straps are not at their maximum distance from each other. Just spread them out along the duty belt as far as you can. Personally, I'd get another holster without the thigh straps, but that's just me.

I could combine a length of scuba webbing that bolts to the thigh panel with a single Duraflex buckle, like the two on the rig, at the top. Single vertical support the fits thru the slot in the molle belt..

Drop  leg Holsters are THE solution to a very few problems and just about nothing else will work as well... the other 95% of the time they are a PITA.

Just going to make some new straps to get me by until I can get a new holster.
