Hey guys, looking for a recommendation for a lightweight water carrier. like a camel back or something. i want something durable and lightweight. maybe with one or 2 small pockets.  i want it to be something i could wear all day and have it still be comfortable. i need straps instead of a molle attachment system because im not going to be wearing a vest.  Price is really not an option. Thanks Guys!

Just go get a camelbak from Cabelas if you're not looking for molle or that kind of thing they have them in a bunch of sizes and most have pockets.

cabelas is over an hour away. i still want a mil style. i would like multi-cam. i also wouldnt mind having molle on the bag for attaching pouches. i just dont want molle so it can attach to a vest. i imagine the straps would be uncomfortable against my back.  sorry i didnt say this before

That's what I have, albeit in non-camo green. If you don't have a whole heck of a lot of stuff to haul around, it's exactly what you're looking for. I like mine, and used to use it when I was into mountain biking.

I have a PIG 2L hydration pouch in multicam and a Source 2L reservoir inside.
I love it. Best part is that it sits flush with the bottom of my plate carrier with no overhang.

This is a picture of the PIG carrier before my source bladder showed up.
good, sturdy zipper on top, three rows of velcro, a drain hole on the bottom and elastic on the sides to keep it tight to your body. Just a very well designed product.

Any camelbak will do just get a source bladder to switch out instead of the camelbak ones.
