I've been searching all over the 'net for a small red range bag, the kind that holds a pistol or two, a few mags and a few boxes of ammo. Bagmaster used to offer one in red but they discontinued the color. If anyone knows where to get a bag like this, please let me know. |

May be bigger than what you want but... |

You might check out the WRB offerings. Their basic range bag might fit your needs, and it comes in red. I have the LaRue version if their ditty bag for a range first aid bag and the quality is high, although all it ever does is ride around in my trunk or sit at the range near my stuff. Not cheapest out there, it's $70 and their sure says out of stock till January. Not sure if that means 2012 or 2013.

Quoted: I really appreciate you posting that. They offer a few different bags I like and almost all of them are available in red. You might check out the WRB offerings. Range Bag Single Pistol Case with Mag Pouch Two Gun Pistol Case Some manufacturers call bags like pistol bags and others call them range bags. I just need to make sure they'll fit my largest mags (STI 140mm 20 rounds). |

No problem. I like the WRB stuff, even though all I have is the ditty bag I mentioned. The big LaRue bag gets good reviews but it's big. I usually go to the range over lunch and don't take a bunch of stuff.
Although not red and probably getting off topic but..... Midway's tactical pistol case is really nice for $10 and it's close to the single pistol case you posted. I recently bought four to have one for each pistol and the ability to store seven mags. I don't know the OAL on those STI mags, but the Midway bag might have plenty if room. I am sewing a small Velcro patch on the front over the logo to label them. They are big enough to carry the pistol, seven mags and the two back pockets are good for ear pro ( probably not muffs), eye pro, and more mags. The reviews say you can stuff two boxes of ammo I the back pockets too, but I usually don't. I'm out of town right now, but if you want pics, let me know and I'll get some when I get home Tuesday. Midway's pics stink for showing the bag for what it is. Midway |
