| I have not bought boots in a long time and the pair I am wearing are from 06, so they are destroyed. my new danners showed up and when I put them on and tied them my heel slides. Does that mean they are to big? I just ordered a 1/2 size smaller while I wait for the return label so actually I will have both pairs to compare to. but when your heel slides the boots are usually to big? |
| Make sure you're lacing them correctly and tight enough. It's possible that when broken in, the heel won't slide. That said, just to be safe I would go with the 1/2 smaller. With boots I find that if you go with a pair that is just a tiny bit tight brand new, when broken in they'll be perfect. |
