[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Converse Boots

LA Police Gear has a closeout on Converse "Da Beast" waterproof soft toe boots for $59 da boots. I went ahead and ordered a pair since I can't beat that price on anything else similar. I also wear Converse steel toes everyday and really like em. Anyone have an opinion or experience with these? Basically just a boot to wear for fall coyote hunts, range days, cross a creek now and then. Also a heads up for those looking for boots.

I have a pair that I love. Feels like a tennis shoe, Only pair of boots I own that didn't need a breakin period to become comfortable. With that said, I wear mine to the deer lease, range and training classes. They seem durable, but I don't wear them everyday.

I rolled the dice and bought a pair of 10W. I'm not big on them for my uber-wide feet, but they are slick looking... if anyone wants a screaming deal on my pair (tried on once indoors only) shoot me an IM.

I got mine today and although I haven't truly tested them I love them. They're like combat tennis shoes in comfort but seem very durable. I need to stomp around in the creek later on for a true test.

Not sure if related, but I purchased a pair of low cut/zip up Converse boots w/ composite toe some time ago (they shipped the wrong style - I ordered high tops). Worse boots ever (I use them heavy) - poor construction (coming apart at the seams) and not real comfortable in rocky terrain. Just my .02 worth.

I've been using my converse zip up high top steel toed boots for almost a year now.
Really impressed with the sturdiness and how they are still comfortable.
id say converse boots are a good buy for you
