I have an "old" vest. The carrier is FUBAR but the soft armor in it still looks ok. I am trying to find a new cover for it but unsure if the armor panels will fit in an INTERCEPTOR carrier. The vest is a SUPREME PROTECTOR made by JHRG LLC/H&S MFG Spring Hope NC. It has a Samurai on the label (if that makes any difference). The soft armor is threat IIIa rated , appear to be in good condition and hate to shit can them. This is going to be used for training not real world. They have black nylon type fabric cover on them with no velcro, H&S MFG label. I have a INTERCEPTOR but it is a large and this one is a XL so trying to compare them doesn't do any good. Does anyone know if these soft armor panels will fit in a new INTERCEPTOR cover, or if anyone makes a new cover for this type of armor?
I can post pics if it will help. Thanks I have contacted Beez Combat Systems and they are going to custom make a conversion carrier. I will update when I get it and do a review. |

I can post pics if it will help. Thanks Definitely. ETA - a quick Google got me this page: http://www.jhrgllc.com/tacticalbodyarmor.html, which shows a more "PACA" (2-piece concealable style) armor than the Interceptor's 3-piece front opening style.
Is this your setup, or is it this one?
Pics and dimensions will be the best bet for finding an answer. |
