hey guys, i need a mag pouch for a pistol class that i have coming up. i might also use it for daily carry if it comfortable enough.

im looking for ones off of la police gear as there is some other gear im planning on buying from them.

anyways what are your suggestions?

it will be for a hi cap glock .40 mag

it would be nice to be able to use it for my glock .45 as well....

I would love to point you in the right direction...... are you looking for hard Kydex type pouches or soft Nylon pouches?

PM sent.
I would say the biggest difference is the speed and retention of the Kydex. I use a kydex pouch for my primary draw mag, then nylon pouches for my extra mags. It's all personal preference really. What type of belt will you be mounting this on? A "war type- MOLLE Belt" or a duty belt? let me know, we'll get you what you need or show you where to get what you want.

Kydex without a doubt. For that sort of setup, it's much faster and better/convienent for daily carry.

I use Talon Tactical

I have a pair of these: http://www.lapolicegear.com/blcqccamapo.html although they are the black ones not the carbon fiber look. They work great and have help up well over 3 years and 4 classes.

Tothemax,
I really appreciate your loyalty.  I don't want you to feel that you have to purchase from us just b/c we are helping you out. We don't carry everyone's gear and I understand that you may prefer a certain manufacturer over one we carry. I just wanted to help you out and make the right gear choice the first time. I can't tell you how many pouches I have purchased only to figure out it wasn't exactly what I was looking for. Reading the forums and checking out different reviews is the best way to make an educated decision about what will fit your needs best.

Good Luck,
