Alright guys here is my chest rig I use in tac. rifle, two gun and three gun matches and plan on useing in some classes. Its a:

ATS M4 Chest Rig
3 Fastmags
1 endom 6o4 pistol holder
2 tactical taylor utility pouches (1 for 1st aid and 1 for general utility) First aid has, compressed guaze, israeli bandage, surgilube and nasal airway, turni, emt shears and tape.

The rig is in Multicam and the pouches coyote(I had them on hand). I was thinking of switching them over to Multicam. Any thoughts suggestions on this rig. Sorry for Crappy cell phone pics.

Might be too many Rifle mags for a 2gun/3gun rig..

What type of shotgun are you using for the 3 gun, and where are the reloads for it?

I like the simpleness...

Shotgun reloads are on the side saddle of the Shotgun (Mossberg 500/pump). I also have something similar to this for shot shells. Its not exactly the same but pretty close on my belt.

I'm really digging this setup. For 2/3 gun there may be too many AR mags, but I don't know since I don't do 3 gun. I've been looking for an ATS rig for a while now.

For my Class/Competition chest rig, I have 4 Rifle mags, a GP pouch and 2 Pistol mag pouches..

I have never needed more than 4+1 Rifle magazines in a competition..

Just something to ponder..

I agree 7 mags on a vest +1 in rifle is not really needed, per se, however I don't like reloading magizines after every course of fire throughout the day during a full day competition. 8 total mags typically means I don't have to load/reload more than one mag or two mags max, if any at all, throughout the day. I just transfer mags from the back bungee retained holders to the fast mags as I use them. I used to do competitions with three mags and I really hated constantly reloading after every course of fire, as most competitions down here require 1 1/2-2 mags per course of fire, so I increased to more mags the more competitions I did, until I reached the level I am currently at. The extra weight of a few mags, which is only a couple of pounds max, has never slowed my time. However, I feel any more than what I currenly use would hurt my time and definately beyond a shadow of doubt be overkill.

/edit/ I am not trying to be agrumentative and I appreciate all of y'alls advice and input. I do agree the 7+ mags in most situations is not needed. Just trying to explain why I carry them.

I hear exactly what your saying.

When I go to a rifle class I load up 20+ magazines and have them sitting to the side, so I'm not wasting time I paid for reloading magazines..

Even though others aren't as courteous...

In matches I keep 3-4 on my chest and another 6+ in my back pack that has my water, snackie cakes, and whatnot in it..

So Between stages I sip on some water, down stock mags, and eat a granola bar...

Just trying to help streamline your load out for comps and classes....
