[ARCHIVED THREAD] - SPEAR cut armor sizing help

I bought a set of Point Blank SPEAR cut soft armor from the gun show awhile back, and have been hunting for a carrier. In my quest for a Eagle CIRAS, I noticed that most people about my size wear a medium. I bought all my armor in size large (soft as well as ESAPI plates). I am wondering if I should trade my large SPEAR armor for some medium, or will it fit me alright.

My measurements are:
Height -5' 10"
Weight- 175lbs
Chest- 42"
Waist- 32"

Given your sizes...you will want a medium for sure.

Agree. It runs pretty close to BDU sizing.

well, i guess it is time to put my point blank stuff up on the EE, and hope someone wants to trade for a large......

yah that is an idea, unfortunately, all of the rest of my clothes will be too small.......
