I guess I'll show my kit.  I've just got it started.

Its a Condor MPC.
4 5.11 Single mag pouches
small admin pouch (don't remember the brand)

Thats it so far.  I'm gonna add a hydration pouch on the back.  Still pondering what pistol mag pouches and where to locate them.  Any suggestions there?

ETA:  Page 7!!

It's a Specter Gear M1 Mk1. I believe it is now discontinued and replaced by the M1 Mk2.

Yes, without the armor.  You can order the armor as a civilian from somewhere else.

they  come with side plate pockets that MOLLE attach to the cummerbund. a better way is to take the cummerbund from an MTV and put that on the SPC.

ETA: Duostock, you OPTactical sells the plate carrier with cummerbund. its the closest youll get to the SPC.  http://www.optactical.com/eainplcawicu.html

also, some pop up on Ebay but expect to pay the price.

yes, normally, as explained above, they come with MOLLE pouches that attatch to the cummerbund and hold side SAPIs, but i got an ASPC (advanced) cummerbund with built in side sapi pouches

New set up I've started using. I like it much better... considerably lighter than my other rig. Just waiting for my Gerber LMF II.

Level IIIA High Cut helmet (Kejo Armor Corp.)
Condor Compact Plate Carrier (actually really nice, it's almost too simple to have anything wrong with it)
ATS Warbelt and insert
Condor Double M4/Pistol mag pouch (again, pretty good quality for the price)
TruSpec? Med pouch
Single Pistol pouch for my Leatherman
Map/Notebook pouch
SERPA
Peltor SporTacs

p.s. i got in trouble for getting sand all over the bed... that stuff hides in everything.

I did the Rit Dye thing. I just wanted something a little different than everything else that's FDE.
I think it turned out all right. It's like a Texas Dark Earth color now. Matches the red dirt around here.

I avoid him.  Even when I'm not loaded out.

And the MAV is in use with my cherry PL.  Besides, you can't wear an antenna remote with a MAV... the second you forgot your radio is hooked up and you ditched your kit... say goodbye to your commo.

I love mine. Funny story: My family has always been pro gun. Each x-mas my mom asks me what gun related item I want. Only rule is that it can't be a gun. Last year it was a new plate carrier. This year its plates.

Well here is my current kit.

Current Police Officer, non swat, no .mil experience.  I've learned alot from this sight, and I decided to jump into the world of being prepared for the bad times ahead.   BCM split front chest rig, added adjustable shingles for either 20 or 30 round mags, and four pistol mag holders, two on each side.  Two for actual pistol mags, one for a Stinger Strion light and a muliti-tool.  Still have to fill my backpack, that will be a fun project.

The carbine is a home-build.  Spikes Tactical receivers, YHM diamond bbl and forend, Centurion HK style sights, Surefire light with upgraded bulb, DD offset mount, yada yada yada.  Still trying to decide on sling and sling mounting points.

Yes, but my feelings are a separate issue from my profession.  In fact, I only posted my profession in this thread, because I didn't want anybody getting all bent out of shape seeing evil things from a NY poster, like P-mags, flash hiders, collapsible stocks, etc.  I do not like to be defined by my profession, I feel there is so much more to who I am, rather than the initial generalizations many people make about cops.

When things go bad, my employer, and the government, is not going to give a rat's ass about me and who feeds and protects my family.
