[ARCHIVED THREAD] - gloves

im planning on getting some gloves for some cold weather (16 degrees F at the worst) hunting and id like them to double as weapon handling/hard use work gloves. id like to keep em relatively inexpensive because im a poor college kid. any suggestions, places to start looking?

I don't think they will keep you very warm, or what kind of hard work you are gonna be doing. But i have used Mechanix (I think they spell it like that) gloves from sears. They got good grip for handling weapons and are cheap. Hope it helps.

That is okay. Mechanix also makes cold weather gloves. Order online, no tax, free shipping. I have a pair, looking forward to winter to test them.

I thought about my requirements a little more; i think anything that keeps my hands warm in north florida is going to be too warm for weapon manipulation in south florida. looks like ill need two pairs. thanks for the input folks.
