I have the Eagle Universal rig. It stays equipped at all times for my go to. My question is, I have aluminum GI mags in it now. Do you guys think I should load out my PMags instead and use them for my go to, and leave the GI mags for backup? What sayeth the hive?

Thanks in advance...

I'm happy with my USGI magazines, they have performed flawlessly for thousands and thousands of rounds.

And will continue to perform as such.

I have P-Mags also, They work every time just like my USGI's..

Really its your choice. I'm happy with both, but P-Mags make you more HSLD..

If you are suggesting BUYING P-Mags, I say hold out and use that monies for more ammo and training.

Thanks Custom I already have the PMags and I am always training

Just wondering what you all thought on using them as the go to. I seem to be a tad more comfortable with the P's. Plus I can load them out without the seating issues I sometimes get with the USGI's (mine have seen quite a bit of use).

Guess I answered my own question there huh... Thanks again.

I use both types of mags on my rig.  I put the Pmags in open top pouches, and the GIs in stackable type closure pouches (easier to put in the pouch and take out).

I carry P-mags in mine, but that's because I've got a whole batch of new ones, while all of my GI mags have hundreds of rounds through them. There is nothing wrong with serviceable GI mags.
