I'm looking for ideas of how to carry my surefire 6p and a leatherman on my belt for security patrols. (Yes I know its just a security guard thing nothing too serious, but I needed a job and they we're hiring, haha ) I'm getting in and out of a patrol car all day so it needs to be low profile. I'd prefer kydex or something of that nature. And Im on a decently tight budget but Im up for ideas. Right now the leather man is in a nylon pouch and the surefire doesnt have a holster. I just need a way to carry them on me comfortably and have them ready to access when I need them.
I saw this while searching the web, but they said it was custom and there wasnt a manufacture for it anymore:

yup, that's what I use on my duty belt...I run a G2Z in a BT pouch w/ Tek-Lok with the bezel down. Very quick and secure. Plus, they're running a 15% off sale now. |

I carry a Blackhawk SERPA modular system. I can carry on a belt or paddle platform, and I can carry any combo of 2:
Surefire 6P/G2 Pistol Mounted Light Spare Magazine (Double Stack) Spare Magazine (Single Stack) Enclosed Mag Pouch (SOG Tool/Gerber/Leatherman) The items are carried high and close to the body. It may not be exactly what you are looking for but it is something to think of. |
