| Any opinions? I'm taking a couple of tactical carbine courses this month, and they're highly recommended. |
|
I have used the following for tactical training:
Oakley SI assault gloves... USGI nomex flight gloves... Nike baseball batting gloves... The ones I like the most: The NIke batting gloves. For several reasons... 1) Cheap (compared to the Oakley SI Assault gloves) 2) Comfortable and lots of dexterity; "you could do surgery in these..." (a popular description used to describe good fitting motorcycle road racing gloves) 3) Fairly durable; a week at both Blackwater and Tactical Response with no problems 4) Because they are sold singly, if you tear-up or lose one, they can be replaced without having to buy another complete pair There are those that swear by other gloves, and, I am sure those are great too. However, I can only relate to those I have used. |

UNIFORCE.
These gloves rock. They are cut resistant and flame retardant with hard knuckle covers. Fit is excellent and it's easy to manipulate objects with them. They also have patrol gloves that are pathogen and chemical resistant, which is a nice thing to have in this day and age. |
|
I use these, if you shop around a little they can be had for way cheaper than Oakley or WileyX and they stand up to a beating.
SixSixOne My g/f bought me a pair of these as a joke but they are well made and comfy. Not to mention the laughs I get POW Shocker Gloves |

Quoted:
IMO it dosent matter what you get as long as there fingerless
Why bother wearing gloves then.... I find fingerless gloves useless and offer no protection from abrasion/cuts and burns. well, if you have little girl fingers then wear full fingered gloves. j/k I find that any gloves that I wear I lose dextarity when doing anything other then pulling the trigger. Fingerless gloves give the best protection with the least loss of dextarity while handleing things. the best of both worlds IMO |
