I know these have probably been discussed a lot but I had a few questions regarding the Pro-Tec Street Series Elbow Pad and the Alta Tactical Flex Elbow Pads.
For those of you who have used them which do you prefer and why? Is one better than than the other, i heard that the Velcro comes undone when extensive usage in the mud and dirt so if I could get some input on that id greatly appreciate it thank you. |

The Altas work well and have been heavily used for years. Get the buckle model, NOT THE VELCRO. Buckles will stay put generally, Velcro slips once dirty.
Hatch and a few other makers have some better ones now, but the Altas are a solid old standby and will serve you well. I've abused the hell out of a couple pairs of Alta kneepads for over a decade or so and the elbowpads on a more limited basis. |
