Anybody have any of this G-code gear, specifically the RTI stuff?

BTT, I was just looking at these online last night, may spend some of my Christmas money on them.  I'm thinking of mounting one on a MOLLE belt.

yeah, I like the idea of going from regular belt to a MOLLE battle belt,(or MOLLE chest rig or wahtever) to a thigh rig with the same actual holster

No experience with the RTI but have been playing with Safariland's MLS system since May. Have plates on an ALS and a 6004 with mounts on a 2 inch belt drop and the 604 platform. With molle you simply thread the pronged part through the molle no need for a plate. I have used it molle mounted to my warbelt in a 3 day carbine/pistol class and shot a couple of IDPA / 3gun matches with it on the belt drop. Has held up well to multiple changes, etc. Hope this helps. The ALS holster rocks also, I like retention on a gun in classes with the running and going prone, etc.

Safariland is great stuff, and I've used thier leather duty rigs, but it is a bit out of my price range right now.

I've got the RTI on a belt drop and on my LE CIRAS.

It's just as advertised....quick on/off and sturdy. The locking mechanism is positive and easy to disengage/engage. The gun remains where it needs to be with friction fitting and a tension screw. The kydex is thick enough not to bend or crack when pressure is placed on it.

All in all, it's well made and rugged.

We used to issue these holsters.  Its a good concept but we had alot of the RTI stuff break, as well as the screws falling out of the holster.

Still issue them out a II MEF, same issues with missing screws and them breaking if guys put them in the stow baggage with the holster attached to the RTI wheel.

would something as simple as loctite solve the screw issue?

With Eagle's reputation, I assume they'd replace personally owned (as opposed to issued) gear that broke through "normal" use.

I had G-code stuff before eagle got in with them.  The double mag carriers were ok, but both my holsters had screws fallout at the worst possible times; they were not common hardware pieces
