Folks,
A question addressed to those currently serving. I know there is no one “all purpose camo” out there, but if you had to choose from among these three patterns, which one would you choose for tropical, woodland and mountain: woodland/Marine Marpat or Multicam or summer/JSDF Flecktarn
(I realize the US won’t be issuing this one to men in the field), which one would you choose, and why?

Thanks in advance

I'd say that Multicam wins for the most versatile.

here are some Multicam pics.

thing is, these are promo pics, so it sort of has the advantage.... apparently multicam SUCKS in green areas...

also remember that these camos aren't made to make u invisible. its supposed to blend u into the background and make it harder for your enemy to target acquire you.

here you can see a non-promo pic and see HOW much multicam sticks out....

hope taht helped.

yep it sucks ass in the green

lighting conditions and location have a lot to do with it also

although it is at its 'weakest' in the green, it still works in more locations and times of the year than the other camo's out there.

to the OP, you would have to go out and test for yourself to see what works for your AO and not just rely on interweb pics
