Is there a Camelbak with shoulder straps that I can take the straps off and attach to a MOLLE vest? Or would it be possible to take the straps off of a Camelbak Thermobak (3L) or equivalent in a MOLLE hydration bladder carrier (link below)?

Thanks in advance.

Not sure if this helps but I only know of 2 hydration systems that work both as a stand-alone pack and also as Molle attachable.    They are the Supply Captain Dual H20 pouch and the EMDOM H20 carrier w/ removable straps.   They might be more than what you're looking for but their quality and design are top notch.

That CTD one is just a Molle carrier.

I know. I'm asking if a Camelbak 3L Thermobak would fit in that CTD carrier if I took the straps off.

I'd say no.  I just measured my Thermobak and it measures 18".   That CTD is only 14".    Though it may be possible I don't think you can squish 4".

the straps on the 3L 'tuck in' on a sleeve on it. cutting them off would just kinda ruin it.

mine is 19" H 7"ish W and 3" deep so it's going to be very tight fit.
whats wrong with just using a blatter with it

I would like something with straps for use when I'm not/can't be wearing my plate carrier. But it would be nice if I could use it with the plate carrier as well.

Maybe I'll just buy the Thermobak and use it in addition to the plate carrier, or just but both and use the bladder that comes with the CTD carrier.

it does have 6 'D' rings on it that you could use something like Grimloks to attatch it to your PC.
