[ARCHIVED THREAD] - subload holsters

SO i've been considering getting a subload holster for my 1911. Originally I was looking for a Safariland 6004. Or would ya'll go with a cordura based platform like the HSGI, TT, or the likes? and if it is the cordura based, which would you recommend and why?

:edit: i've read all the pro and cons of a subload. I'd rather this thread NOT turn into a why you should or shouldn't use one. i'm looking for reviews/opinions of the various subloads out there.

what are you trying to carry? i have used a tt modular panel with six tt mag pouches. it was for a usp. kind of heavy, but worked perfect for shooting steel at the range.

safariland 6280 holster, hsgi udhp. or do the mod on the 6004. i dont like carrying mags on the holster.
