I'm no newbie to ar's but I am in tactical gear. Just got my first 2 Chest rigs. I picked up that low profile chest rig from SKD and the Molle rig beside it. Both fit comfortably and SKD's service was top shelf. First thing I notice is how slippery those shoulder straps are. My rifle naturally sits in my shoulder pocket; but now there's a strap there. How do you experienced shooter deal with this? I was thinking maybe sew some leather on outside of strap, something to give it grip. I'm lucky there is a lady close by who sews upholstery and can alter my tactical gear , she already repaired my range bag. |
