theres a difference between the two and I know who makes them

as far as the criminal aspect, you certainly are obligated to your opinions

would you like some gouda with your opinion?

Back on topic, I like the inconspicuous shape - it could easily pass for a 35mm camera bag.

I posted a review of the Rifle Bug Out Bag sometime ago.  Unfortunately I can't search back far enough on AR15.com to give you a link to the thread.  In fact that's one of my pics shown in the link you posted to One Source Tactical.

However, here's a link to the same review I posted on the Lightfighter forums.

BTW, the newer bag the OP is asking about looks pretty good to me.

The E&E Rifle bug out bag looks like it can hold a lot more and is $50 cheaper.  I do like how the Suarez bag has the belt/leg straps to stabilize it if you actually got into a gun fight.  It still does not solve the problem of how to conceal the rifle itself.  the ease of throwing it on is more attractive than the concealability part.

I wish someone would make an insert to fit inside a Timbuk2 large messenger bag that would hold mags and organize gear.  That would be the ultimate urban camo and it could fit a Kel-tec rifle, some food and water and be totally waterproof.

The point is not to conceal the rifle

the TB2 modifications have been done for almost a year now.

Its actually the updated version according to the site, made a bit more durable.  The bug out bag was the forerunner to this bag Im getting.

Cool.  The price was what was leading me to the former, but I'll check it out when it comes in during the class and decide which to purchase then.

The first one looks bigger and has room for a little more.  This one is more geared to carrying mags whereas the other could have a lunch packed inside as well.  I think Daniel at KGS has a bug out bag if you wanna check it out.

Don't encourage his visions of greatness.

There is just too much stuff on the market designed/made by legit vets to throw money at a nobody, IMHO.

My beef? One cannot pull "tactical" out of ones ass, one should have to "pay the dues" in order to make a living "teaching" others things of a "tactical" nature.

If he were just a shooting coach, or just a gear maker, without paying said dues I wouldn't mind at all.

Guess he didn't get the memo.

I remember the thread. Didnt that bag have the belt and leg straps on it for stability?

The Hawkepak bag has belt loops and a leg strap.  When I used them I preferred to use the belt belt loops without the leg strap.

Hawkepak later resdisgned the belt loops with fastex buckles so you could leave the loops on your belt and still take the bag off.

I'd like to see these too.  I was actually thinking of getting a custom made 26" TB2 as a breakdown case for an AR carbine.  I'd be interested to see an insert with a padded divider for the upper and lower and some storage for mags and some other thngs like a cleaning kit and BOK.

I know a 26" FF would accomdate an SBR,
but alas, you've hit on one of my upcoming projects :)

In the meantime, here's a teaser

I look forward to seeing the 26" TB2 insert!

BTW, if I were to get a XL TB2 using their bagbuilder site should I get the center divder option? I just want to make sure your insert will work with it!
