Anybody seen one?  Saw an initial reaction review from a guy on lightfighter.  He says it's pretty neat but doesn't know if he'll like it b/c it takes up quite a bit of room.    It's a lil pricey at $125 but pretty inovative idea

Wow.. and I just use to use a strip of 100 MPH tape on my left sleeve and an Alcohol marker to put down my Call signs/Freqs....

Now they created a $125 piece of 100 MPH tape that still requires Alcohol markers....
And as far as the light goes... anyone hear of a $5 LED keychain light that runs forever!!!!

You gotta love free enterprise....

I would still being using the the Tape method....
You could buy a helluva lot of other gear for that kinda money....

I would not want to be in the field with the Buckethead who thought that was money well spent on field gear... Perhaps a Single 2nd Lt Fresh out of OBC....

LOL Harv I agree w/ ya.  It is very neat but I'd only probably buy this if I was a rich MO-FO and had nothing else to buy.

Or maybe if it was around...say....$30-$40 I could justify it a lil more.

Just thought it was interesting.

WTF? Isreal has been using them for many years and I remember seeing them at gun shows for about $10-15. I think they were refered to as "leaders armband" or something like that and the tag was in Hebrew so I would guess they were original.

I don't get the $120 price tag.

the $120 price tag is just b/c ....like everything else in the gun/tacticool business....they can overcharge tremendously and get away w/ it.

Now, 120 in multicam would make sense. Did the price of velcro go up alot??

hell you can even get multicam pretty cheap these days (i'm finding out...b/c i'm going w/ MC gear now)

just like every other big name vendor...you're paying 25% for the product and 75% for the name.

It looks like some of the price is due to an electric-luminescent (EL) panel that acts as a backlight in the dark (see the pink glowy picture...).  While those aren't cheap, they're not THAT expensive. :)

Or you could save a $100 and get a playbook armband like you used to have in football and  a little led light.

I can easily see someone buying this thing, using it once, and being teased unmecifully for years because of it. Neat(ish), but not for the price.

Yeah, I bet I could make a similar thing, without the light, using about $2 of spare MC cordura I've got in the closet and about an hour on the sewing machine (as I suck at sewing).

How in heck can they patent an arm band that I have been making for the last 5 years , unless it's the lighting part on which mine has a place for the small chem-lights ?  And at that price is ridiculas in my point of veiw !

Innovative idea... but its not needed.  Its just a high speed piece of paper.  I'll just tape an index card to my arm and save myself $125.

Waste of money....Back in the day, I used to use a 3"x5" card with a like-sized piece of luminous tape on it.  I would cover it with acetate so I could write on it with a grease pencil or alcohol marker, and carry it with some other acetate covered 3"x5" cards ringed together in my upper chest pocket.

Move that decimal over one point to the left and it would be a great price.
