Hey gents, I'm sure there are a lot of people here who use commercial bags for their Bug Out Bags in order to be as discrete as poosable. I'm trying to figure out a way to have a Pistol on the ready during these situations but still be discreet. What have you guys done? Altered the pack, maybe belly band? I'm not so good at home made things. Any and all help would be appreciatated! Riese |

Ill play. Um. If I really have to dig out my GHB or BOB I have a bianchi (spelling) flap holster that is attached to the padded belt. I put that on the right and 2 extra mags on the left. I can store the pistol in the ruck on top untill I decide to mount it. The problem I seem to have is that when I wear my gear I dont have room or space for a IWB, CCW set up. The pack and such take up all avalible realestate. I could add a sling bag and have the pistol mounted in that, but that would be very awkward for me. I am interested to hear your approach to the solution. I have a safariland 6004 drop leg, and I really wouldnt even want to wear that for more than 3-4 miles with a load. Hope that helps. My suggestion is that if you are looking for concealed, you may want to start here and work off of that. This is a good grab and go bag that would allow you to have der pistolen at the ready. |
