Upgrading my personal light from mini mag to G2 nitrolon & was curious w/ the run time specs. What goes first the bulb, batteries or is it a combination of both ? Thanks !

Batteries definitely go first. A set only lasts about an hour.
You can burn the bulb very easily if you leave the light on for too long. It will get really hot and end up melting something in the light.
