What danhits said. You will never see MARPAT in any form marketed to civilians. They went so far with the patents as to embed the EGA all throughout the pattern! It's a great pattern to be sure, but it is very unique to the USMC and I wouldn't wear it. Besides, why go with 2 separate uniforms when you can get the Army uniform for all seasons? It's MARPAT with different colors. ![]() If you gotta have camo for some reason, go with Multicam. |

IMHO - I don't think the digital pattern is the biggest leap forward for camo. I think the biggest advance is using the lighter colors more. I've found that having Coyote as a base is ideal here in AL. It is very close to our native clay soil and blends well with the forest floor and foliage. Woodland just seems too dark (unless you're in true jungle types areas or the thick woods of the north east)...especially when it is brand new. I've got a set of woodland that has to be almost ten years old and has faded a good bit. If it didn't have the black in it, it would almost look like the colors in multicam. It blends very nicely as well. |

I'm not a Digital kinda guy, maybe I'm just not of the "Digital Age". but, if I lived in an area with Digital Trees and Rocks, I'd probably be all over it. I've always liked faded Woodland, but the bad thing is that by the time you wash Woodland BDUs enough to get them useful, they start falling apart. *shrug* Multicam is the ticket for me. |
