If you go anywhere go to www.lightfighter.com they have decent prices and have EXCELLENT customer service! I will pay a little more for an item if I know I'm going to get the customer service I need.. These guys are top notch! Can't say enough good things about them! PS Get the Acadias!!! I've been wearing them for the last year and can not believe I waited for so long! Your dogs will thank you!! |

I've ordered from Lightfighter before, and will order again without hesitation. But they were out of my size and I was in a hurry, so ordered from these guys. www.bootbay.com IIRC, they were a little more $$ than LF. My purchase with Bootbay was smooth - I'd also buy from them again. |

I just bought a pair for $105 from the Danner Outlet store in Portland, OR. They were listed at $140 minus 25%. They are factory seconds, so no warranty (which I think is only 180 days anyway.) So if they die too soon, I have to buy another pair. But, I'll still be around the $200 price tag of first quality ones. I couldn't find a thing wrong with them anywhere, so it might have been just a color thing. They don't list them on their website for web specials though. I guess they have a 100,000 boot contract to fill, so the pile of 2nds is stacking up. They had every size imaginable, even a 13EE for my friend. It was obvious where his were 2nds, ss the midsole had some scoring marks in them from where the needle came through the side. They restitched it, so it looks to be totally solid. Maybe someone who lives in Portland on the board will hook you up with a pair? I'm about 2 1/2 hours away, and I don't have any plans to return in the next few weeks, otherwise I'd do it for you. |
