I'm looking to convert my 18.5" 590 to a 14" SBS. Pretty sure I would only need a barrel and 5 shot mag tube. I seem to be striking out finding these parts. Is my only option to buy a Shockwave and add a stock? |
Two is one...  I haven't seen the Mossberg kits available in a long time but for what they cost (~$325) you'd come out ahead just buying a Shockwave on sale (there are several retailers listing them for under $400 on gundeals) and picking up a stock so you have two guns.The kit is Mossberg part # MS92514 |

| I just picked up a five round matte finish magazine tube from Midway, for 58.00. Already had a barrel and couldn't find one from the usual places like eBay or Midwest Gun Works. Kind of pricey, but they are hard to find without going the kit route. I also got a 14-inch factory threaded barrel with GRS from the EE recently. |

I couldn't find the magazine tube though, then finally found the complete 14" kit at Brownells, then couldn't find the breacher barrel again. Another one of those "should have bought it when I had the chance" things.
