| my mossberg 930 had a hiccup while shooting the other day, a part fell out. the part was a teeny cotter hair pin that was retaining another pin that held in the cartridge interrupter/bolt catch. my question is can i find a cotter pin at a hardware store or a firearms store? i contacted mossberg and got no reply i've been told to ship my firearm to mossberg but i find it a bit much to ship the whole gun over a pin. any help would be much appreciated |

Well, if you can fix it, do it.
If you can't ship it. Seems a bit obvious, but that's what is going on. No need to make it any harder than it needs to be. We are just talking a simple cotter pin not a machined factory piece. I'm am more than confident you can handle it.
