| Do any of you have the new Browning A5? I am looking for a semi auto shotgun for bird, duck and deer hunting and really like the way they look, but I haven't been able to shoot one. Any advice would be appreciated |

I do not own an A5, but shoot clays competitively as a hobby.
My advice is to handle and shoot as many different models of shotgun within your general price range that you can. Go to your nearest sporting clays or trap and skeet club some weekend and get to know the shooters. Politely ask if you can try their guns. Almost everyone will gladly allow you to do so. Some guns may look better than others, but looks don't break targets. Find the one that feels the best to you, and shoots relatively close to where you look. Personally I find the A5s (new and old) to feel clunky and unbalanced, but that's just me. Others love them. I shoot Berettas for clays, and Benellis for most hunting. They seem to fit and shoot the best for me. Good luck. |
