im looking for load data for estate shells ive herd there owned by federal is this true if so would load data be the same

The early Estates load like Federal Top Guns or Gold Medals.
They have a rolled paperbase wad like Top Guns. Using data for Federal hulls I loaded 1k or so of them because they were free and I launch them out of my autos no hull chasing. As of late they changed the hull to Cheddite Hulls, IF I am not mistaken I believe they have a plastic basewad. The give away is the 2 stars stamped in the head of the shell, they have more internal space than the Top Gun style. Loaded a few and came out with a dished crimp, not willing to buy different wads and change my machine adjustments to load these I don't use them. If you find Cheddite load data you should be fine. As always YMMV. |
