I have an older Wingmaster 870 that some time ago I put a Choate extension tube on. The gun holds 7 2 3/4" shells.
Is the tube considered a +3, +4 or +5? Also, it has a 20" barrel and the tube ends just about flush with the muzzle. Does anyone run a tube that extends out past the muzzle or is this dangerous? |

+2 is what you have. ^ This is wrong ^.....OP, 7 in the tube and its flush with the 20 barrel that is a +3 for sure. And you can go pretty far past the barrel, very common in 3 gun. Those guys seem to hang the extension about 10" out beyond the end of the barrel. Hope this helps |

WOW! OP, came here to post about the same thing. Just purchased a Choate "7 shot", installed the orange follower and spring that came with it but.....it only holds 5+1. What gives? Gun is the same...older (70's) Wingmaster 870 pump 12 ga. with 18.5 inch barrel. |
