Just got a Browning A5 16 gauge that was my wife's grandfathers that just passed away.  Her mom said they had a couple of guns to give us that were his and one didn't work I'm guessing this is the one, lol. I'm sure it can be fixed easily but I don't want to screw it up, I have little experience with these guns...The forearm is off of the rifle and the bolt won't cycle. I've looked up disassembly instructions and it says to have the bolt locked back before taking off the forearm. Anyway if anyone has any help it would be appreciated!

Thanks

Try to push the barrel into the receiver, then turn the knob to let the barrel off the mag tube.

IM or Email me your phone number and I will walk you through it. I've been working on them for 40 years. I have 12's, 16's, and 20 gauge models. Actually an easy gun to work on once you've been in and out of one a time or two. Wil.

Thank you so much for taking the time to call me and work me through this issue. You got me all squared away and back in business! Thanks again.

I'm going to take a few scans from that book we were talking about and get them to you with a link as well. That way you can see it before buying if you're interested...
