I have a nice old Auto5 that I just don't use much. For the last year or so my eye has been out for the right double barrel to SBS, but what I want and what I am willing to spend for a host gun don't seem to line up.
So, back to the Browning, it should be fun. This would be my fourth form 1 so I have that process down. First NFA shotgun, likely only. Do these have any issues running with a shorter barrel, say 12 to 14" On the barrel, obviously that is a ways out, but a quick google shows that used barrels sell for what a whole shotgun sold for a few years ago. Any advice? It would never be used to shoot steel. I'd have the short barrel engraved so the gun could be returned to title 1 status without scars. Advice before I fill out the forms? |
