What is the general opinion? I've seen a few in my area and at gun shows and am kinda interested in it but i've never handled one or shot one. I do have a Benelli SBE II, is the M4 comparable? What is a non-retarded price for a NIB?
Thanks for your input. |

It is an exceptional gun. It is much heavier than the other Benelli's and doesn't run as clean, but it is very reliable. 2-3/4 dram is no problem, you can hang accessories on the gun without affecting reliability, and it comes out of the box accepting ghost loads for 7 +1 +1 capacity (or 5 +1 +1 with crimped tube). The lifter is also properly shaped so it doesn't pinch your thumb (like the ID Benelli's).
1800 would be a reasonable price these days. I saw one at Gander Mountain for $1799 last weekend. |

I got mine from Gander Mountain a few weeks ago for same price. When I ordered mine they had over 300 in their main supply hub that supplies all the Gander Stores. It only took 2 weeks to get mine. I have seen some selling here on the EE for as high as $2400. Thats a ridiculous markup |
