I got me a new Rem 870 Express Super Mag and was thinking of replacing the bead sight with a fiber optic. Any suggestions from any experienced hunters/competitors? I am trying to decide which one, but I am not sure. I see some that screw in, while others are "Sticky" on. How well are the "sticky" ones working? i would imagine they would eventually wear off somehow.

Uses will be: 3-Gun, Trap/Skeet, and Hunting.

I put a Truglo fiber optic sight on my 870 Express Magnum. I cut the barrel slightly and lost the front bead. While deciding what to put back I bought one of the Truglo fiber optic sights for plain barrelled 12 gauge shotguns. It just pushes on the barrel and holds very tight. When I added the Magpul forward sling mount I Dremmeled out the sight around the mount. Still holds tight and is bright as anything I have used. Even overcast outside it's very bright. Indoor with accent lighting it's bright. Indoors with the lights off I can hit the Surefire and the light bouncing off the walls light it up nicely. I am really not in a hurry to replace it. I think I paid $16 at a LGS.

This picture sucks. Just took it with my cell phone. But you get the idea.
