I have a FN TPS and I am wondering what the going price is for them used? Looking at selling it so looking for an idea.

I was in the market for one at a certain point. They're based on the Winchester 1300, which is a seriously-underrated shotgun. Very slick and fast to shoot.
The issue with the TPS is that it's ported (meaning it's often difficult to shoot in certain 3-gun and Tac shotgun competitions) and frankly, the stock design does not lend itself to comfortable shooting of lots of shells at a time. They're still useful shotguns. I would expect to sell one for about what a comparably-equipped 870 (with a Mesa stock adapter, improved sights, etc.) would go for...around $450.00-$500.00. My experience with guns is that once you go north of $500.00 the market begins to change considerably. With shotguns, people start looking at their semi-auto options. |
