ok guys I just bought my mossberg 500. but it only hold 3 rounds I cant for the life of me figure out how to unplug it. anybody know how any help will do.

Take the barrel off and shake the gun while holding it with the stock up. There is a pencil sized piece of wood inside the magazine tube that limits the mag tube capacity.

Depending where you live, if you use it for hunting you may need to put the "plug" back in.

Here in AZ we're only allowed to have two in the tube and one in the chamber (total of 3rds) for hunting.

For HD, it doesn't matter.

yeah I looked into it. I'm not using the gun for hunting.
just HD and going out with my family to shoot. but thanks for the input
