Anyone running a Fastfire on their shotgun? Opinions?

I am curious as well.  I am considering a Speedbead by Burris.

Have one on my 870.
Love it. Use it for 3 gun: slugs and shot.
Considering if a flip to side 3x magnifier would work with it.

I'm interested in a FastFire for an FN SLP.    How's the battery life?

I was really considering this thing, especially because Amazon has it for $171 with the mount and free shipping.  I keep reading people's only complaints are that the adjustments are a PITA (not a big deal) and the auto brightness adjustment is garbage for anything other than bright daylight shooting(big deal).  Hopefully someone can chime in.

I was looking into one but SWFA has Docter red dots for $250, but they come with no mount.  All things being equal I would have still went with a Burris except the Docter sight is available with a 7moa dot, I like a larger dot for shotguns and pistols.

I ordered the FastFire II.  I'm planning on running it on an SLP Mark 1.  If I don't like it there it will go to a G17 or a Ruger MKII.

I've got a JPoint MRD (8 MOA dot) that was on top of my ACOG.   Thinking of putting it on top of my 870 for turkeys.  Battery life is around 6 months on top of the AR without the cover on it.  Need a different mount for mine of course.
