I have noticed in some of the photos here in the tacked photo thread that some people are using what looks like a piece of velcro attached to the left side of their shotgun receiver and then  have multiple shotgun shell holders that are backed with the corresponding velcro that can be slapped on and then torn off and replaced with another full load when needed.

Who makes these items?

How do you like them?

Do you feel they have an advantage over the solid mount side saddle units from Mesa Tactical or Tac-Star?

I use these and i love them. I strictly used Mesa Tactical before, but have since changed them all out to velcro. I like being able to carry extra and slap them on as i use the shells. The shotgun cards fit AR-15 mag pouches so you can carry them in a vest or on a belt. Plus you can get 4 of them for the price of a Mesa Tactical saddle.

I have one on my Mossberg.  I purchased mine from 3gungear.com.  I love it.  It replaced a Tac Star side saddle.  The velcro one allows me to have multiple shell holders loaded up.  When you empty one, you just peel it off and slap a full one on.  They also tend to hold the shells more securely under recoil than the plastic ones do.  The only downsides are the velcro will eventually wear out and need to be replaced, and the shells aren't as easy to insert in the elastic loops.

All in all, I love mine.

Sweet!  I currently have a tac-star on my Mossberg 500. I have no complaints. It seems to work just fine. But I'm hoping to get a 930spx here in the near future and would like to give these things a try.
