Been roaming the forum here and came across this 870 wingmaster with both barrels for $350.00. The finish isn't perfect but I can change that. So how'd I do? Future plans include a speed feed stock set and a tube extention. I which one will be even with the barrel?

Very nice Wingmaster! I actually like the finish wear. That gives it a little character, in my opinion. Good deal for the package as well.

Might not be what you want to hear, but Ill give you my .02 anyway. If it were mine Id either leave it as is and find a express to pimp out or Id make it a old school riot. The expresses are a dime a dozen and the Wingmasters are gotting hard to find for a decent price. Here is a pic of my old school riot next to a express I did up..

I love the look of your old school riot, but my purpose for this shotty will be some future 3 gun matches. It was a perfect canidate to me because the original wood stock has water damage and cracking. I won't  be doing much more than bolt on stuff so it will be able to be changed back in the future. Still not sold on painting this.

Well, this showed up on my doorstep:

After a little time and some frustration with the forearm, the wingmaster now looks like this:

This is the best part. I guess I have a soft spot for the bayo.

S&J was a pleasure to deal with. He lead me to one of his dealers that had the part in stock so that I wouldn't have to wait! Will this clamp take place of the factory or do I still need to have a clamp in the factory location?

When I took it out to test fire, I had some problems with feeding. I took it back to the FFL and he replaced the rails that are staked into the receiver. All works fine now.

Very nice.

This was my 1978 Wingmaster

That clamp is all you'll need.

Great FFL, too, for fixing it for you without a fuss.

The shop I got mine at put a different barrel on at my request.
