I've got a Benelli Nova that I'm getting ready to purchase a +2 extension for.  Is there any reason or benefit  to replacing the mag follower, or is that a "If it's not broke, don't fix it" part?

The gun is a Nova 18.5" tactical with ghost ring sights, if it matters.

Thanks

Is some thing like this  or this  worth buying and putting in ?

I like the DMW red aluminum follower in any 12g mag tube.  It's simple and inexpensive.  I've had issues with plastic ones, even a Scattergun/Wilson neon plastic one, getting gummed up and wedged in the mag tube.

Personally, I'm a big fan of high viz followers.

I've got a DMW follower sitting on my shelf.  Will install it in something and some point, just no needs at the moment.  Just ordered it along with some other stuff as shipping cost was already paid.

Anyway, appears to be high quality and pretty stout.  Aluminum, not steel, but solid.
