got a sbe II for christmas. bil told me i may not be able to shot slugs out of it. are there certain barrells/chokes that u cant shot slug through?

Put in a IC or Modified choke tube and shoot slugs to your heart's content. You should avoid extra tight "Turkey tubes" or specialty tubes with wad stoppers (like the Patternmaster tubes), other than that you are good to go.

ok thats wat i thought. now my next ? is there any way to put a side saddle on. if so wats a good one.

Might be hard to mount a side saddle on a SBEII or SBE I.  Half of the receiver is attached to the barrel, so there is not much room to work with.

Get an extended tube for it instead.
