Has anyone had one of these factory sight upgrades (http://www.mossberg.com/cgi-bin/commerce.exe?preadd=action&key=95300&reference=/cgi-bin/commerce.exe%3Fsearch%3Daction%26keywords%3D%26searchstart%3D0%26template%3DPDGCommTemplates\MossPdgNav\SearchResult.html%26category%3DSIGH) installed on their shotgun? Any thoughts? Pictures?
Also, is it possible to get an extended magazine tube for a Mossberg 500 cruiser? Thank you ahead of time. CSP |

You can't get a magazine extension for that model. You can swap out the entire mag tube for a longer 20" one, but then you will need a new 20" barrel that has the barrel nut mounted further towards the muzzle end....
ETA: Here is another thread that shows the difference between the two types of mag tubes (The style on your 500 is the top gun in both pics): http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=6&f=1&t=320950 Mossberg does make a 500 Cruiser with a 590 style tube. I am not sure why they don't make all their shotguns with the 590 style tubes.....it would make mag extensions and barrel swaps much easier......... |
