The (for sake of a better term. BC the exploded diagram does not include this part)...loading ramp on my 20 gauge model 1100 has come loose.... This part is approximately 7 and 75 100ths long with a concave surface on the bottom and a lightly concaved surface on top. it fits on top of the magazine tube and under the barrel when installed. Upon inspection I found a gritty white material on each surface. Solder? JB weld or similar? I have no clue. The questions are what bonds these two pieces together and How should I proceed?
Please no send it to the factory its not my style. |

I am a Remington factory trained Armorer and I am having trouble knowing what you are asking. What do you mean by loading ramp? Are you refering to the shell carrier? If so, it is not bonded to anything it is a singleassembly and is attached to the trigger plate assembly and held in with a pin. I know of no loading ramp on any Remington shotgun.
If you will call me and have the weapon in front of you, I can try to figure out the issue. Call 231-690-0954. I keep west coast hours and can take a call till around 2am EST. Or call tomorro afternoon but please have the weapon in front of you so you can break it down. |

The loading ramp on my 20 gauge model 1100 has come loose. This part is 7.75 inches long with a concave surface on the bottom and a lightly concaved surface on top. It fits on top of the magazine tube and under the barrel when installed. Shell lifter? or Action Bar? The action bar fits between the mag tube and barrel. Upon inspection I found a gritty white material on each surface. Solder? JB weld or similar? I have no clue. The questions are what bonds these two pieces together and How should I proceed? Solder is silver, JB Weld is dark gray. What two pieces? Please no send it to the factory its not my style. Please use English. |
