Anybody done business with Buds Gun Shop in kentucky? I was thinking of ordering a Mossberg 590A1 from them, great price which includes shipping.

Buds is a volume dealer on gun broker. They get distributor prices where normal FFL dealers have to buy from distributors. For this reason it is impossible to sell guns on Gun Broker for a normal FFL dealer unless you want to accpet making $20 on a $400 gun after the gun broker fee. Discount Gunner and Lone Star are a couple more volume guys on that site.
Buds has thousands of feed back ratings that you can read. You will find most all are positive so you will get good service and prices. |

If you can deal with all that, it's not a bad place. |

I bought three guns from Buds and my brother bought one.
Very good prices, they do ship slow, but otherwise are good to deal with. I did a gun trade with them. I took a long time to get the trade worked out but I paid a low price for the new gun and they gave me a high price on my gun so it was worth the wait. The first gun I bought was a discontinued Remington 20 gauge 870 turkey gun. Google search of the product number showed that they had one in stock. I called Buds and they said they did not show that gun in stock. The guy said he would check and call back. I never believed I would hear from them again but a few days later they called back and had found the gun. I would deal with them again. MIKE. |

Bought a handgun from them. Happy overall. Took a while, but I sent a check (so had to wait for that to clear).
They did delay shipping by one day: got message the check had cleared and the gun was on the shipping dock (and got the message in the morning) but didn't ship until next day according to my tracking info. I'd buy from them again. I got a HK Mark 23 and they were the only place that I could find them. price was same as local. So no benefit buying from them rather than local other than availability of the product. |
| I can't find better prices anywhere. I'm waiting on a couple items from them now that I ordered earlier this week. They respond pretty quick to emails but I can't get anyone on the phone, hopefully not a big deal. They do charge 10% restocking fee if you cancel your order at any time after you confirm the purchase. |
