12ga Remington 870.  20" with rifled choke tube.  Which slug ammo???

The rifled choke tube won't help much. Just get a bunch of different foster style slugs (rifled slugs) and see which performs the best out of your gun.

For cheap shooting, the Winchester 15 rounds for $9 is a pretty good deal.

That's what I have been getting lately and they seem to do pretty good.
Accuracy is acceptable, the whole box will group nicely inside 10" at 100 yards.

Another Winchester fan - if they can touch at 50 yards, I'm sold

So, how will these work through the rifled choke?  Would I see any benefit from Sabots?

Sabots will not work as well because they are designed to be fired from a fully rifled barrel. You can try them if you wish. I would just stick with foster style.

ETA: A rifled choke is kind of silly in my opinion. The choke is only a few inches long and that isn't enough to really get it spinning to where you will get much improved accuracy if you get any at all.
