Will Browning Auto 5 parts interchange with a Remington model 11?
the parts in question are the Magazine cut off, the mag cut off spring, and the mag cut off spring screw. |

Quoted:
The Rem mod 11 does not have the cut off feature, just the browning A5,so no! The Browning has a round recoil spring the Rem a flat one(or visa verse)but they are different which makes even the fore-grips different. But all the internals are the same! Bob Bob, Didn't some of the "A5s" produced for Browning by Remington during WWII have the mag cut off? I don't have access to the gun anymore, but a buddy had a WWII production gun with a Mod 11 marked bolt and I'm pretty sure it had a mag cut off. Could have had a different bolt tho. Rob |

Bob It does have the cut off. Well it did once upon a time, now it just has a place where the cut off should be. LOL |

Having both I can tell you that next to nothing will interchange, you can make the springs interchange but have to also change forearms, as well as the friction rings
as for internal pieces, I wouldn't hold my breath my model 11 does not have the cutoff, not sure if any 11 ever did |
